Eastchester Union Free School District
Ms. Mari K. Doyle, Principal
February 22nd, 2021
To Prospective Parents:
Calling parents of the class of 2034! My name is Mari K. Doyle, and I am the principal of Waverly School. I am writing to encourage you to register your school-age child now for kindergarten.
Allow me to tell you a little about Waverly. It’s truly a wonderful place. It is where youngsters come to learn and explore, have thoughtful conversations, make friends, make mistakes and grow. We are very excited to welcome our newest students to our school.
Registration is open to all children who reside in Eastchester and will turn five by December 1, 2021. If your child’s fifth birthday is after September 1, 2021 and you have any concerns regarding your child’s readiness for kindergarten, I encourage you to contact me.
You can register your child now for kindergarten. Registration information and forms are available at
On behalf of the Waverly staff, we look forward to welcoming your family to Waverly.
Mari K. Doyle

We are fortunate to have access to the parking lot at the church across the street from Waverly during dismissal each afternoon. Kindly note that the lot closes promptly at 3:15 p.m. If you plan to visit the playground after school, be sure to park in another location.
For those families experiencing difficulties with ezSCRN (the application to report your child’s daily temperature, and potential exposures to COVID-19) the Technology Department has shared the following video.
Please be sure to do the app each day to help keep our students and staff safe and healthy. It’s important!
If you are experiencing any technical difficulties, you are encouraged to reach out to the Technology Department using the following email address: EufsdTechHelp@eufsdk12.org
