Mr. Scott Wynne, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction

Prior to coming to Eastchester, Scott Wynne served as a Teacher of Mathematics, AIS Provider, Assessment Coordinator, and Department Chair in the Yorktown Central School District, as well as a Dean of Students in the Carmel Central School District.  In 2009, Scott was hired as the Middle School Assistant Principal here in Eastchester and was then promoted to Middle School Principal in 2013.  Scott began his work as Assistant Superintnedent in 2017.  Scott received his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics with a Minor in Education from Lafayette College.  He earned Masters Degrees in Special Education and Administration & Superivision from Pace University and Bank Street College respectively.

Dr. Jerrod Blair

K-12 Supervisor of STEM

Jerrod Blair taught 7th grade Life Science at the Louis M. Klein Middle School in Harrison for 7 years, and Living Environment, Regents Chemistry, and AP Chemistry at Harrison High School for 8 years.  He received a B.A. in Biological Sciences and an Ed.M. in Science Education from SUNY University at Buffalo and a Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership from Manhattanville College where he is also a candidate for the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership.  Jerrod is originally from the Finger Lakes Region, south of Rochester, NY.  In addition to his love for everything STEM, Jerrod has two dogs, Charlie and Archie, and is an avid cruiser.  He believes there is nothing more relaxing than waking up to the sound of the waves of the ocean and to experience the culture and vistas of a new cruise port every day.  *Google for Education Certified Trainer

Mrs. Susan Chester

K-12 Supervisor of Humanities

Susan Chester taught 6th and 7th grade social studies in Mamaroneck for 19 years, and served as the Middle School Social Studies Department Chair.  She received a BA in Anthropology at Binghamton University, an MA in Social Science Education from the University of South Florida, and an MS in Educational Leadership from Long Island University.  In addition to her role as Supervisor of Humanities, Susan is the President of the Westchester Lower Hudson Council for the Social Studies, a local professional organization for teachers.  Susan grew up in Brooklyn and is the proud daughter of two retired New York City public school teachers.  She, her husband, and 16-year-old daughter, live in Irvington, and are not ashamed to admit that they are serious Trekkies.  (Yes, they go to conventions!)

Mr. Thomas Lehman

K-12 Supervisor of Athletics, Physical Education and Health

Tom Lehman spent 14 years at Long Island City High School as a physical education teacher, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal.  During Tom’s time at Long Island City High School, he led the varsity baseball, volleyball, and the girl’s basketball programs to consistently be one of the top programs in Western Queens. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Secondary Education and his Master of Science degree in Physical Education from Queens College and earned his SBL/SDL certifications from the College of Rose.  For the past three years, Mr. Lehman served as the Assistant Director of Athletics, Physical Education, and Health in the Harrison Central School District.  Tom currently lives in Oceanside Long Island, with his wife and two daughters, who love to spend time kayaking and boogie boarding at the beach.

K-12 Supervisor of Guidance

Kristen Shearer spent the first 19 years of her career as a school counselor (elementary, middle and secondary levels) and as the Director of Guidance at Schenevus Central School before accepting a position as the Assistant Director for Pupil Personnel Services with the Schenectady City School District.  Kristen received her undergraduate degree in Business and Communication and Masters of Science in Education and Advanced Study degrees in School Counseling from the State University at Oneonta and a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from the State University at Cortland.  In addition to her role as the Supervisor of Guidance Kristen is the past president of the New York State School Counselor Association and now serves as the VP for Directors as well as NYSED Advisory Council liaison to PPS and Mental Health.  Kristen is originally from Long Island, lives with her husband David in Eastchester and is the proud parent of sons, Connor and Kyle.


  • Mrs. Anna DiLegge, Assistant to Mr. Wynne

    Anna has worked in the District for over 20 years, starting in 1999 as a part-time leave replacement for the EHS attendance office.  In 2000, she moved on to work as a permanent part-time clerk in the EMS Main Office doing attendance.  Anna became the secretary to the EMS Assistant Principal in 2001. In 2003, became the Secretary to the EHS Principal and worked there very happily for 14 years. During those years, she served as President of the CSEA Clerical Unit.  In 2017, Anna came to her current position as assistant to both Scott Wynne, the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction as well as to the Superintendent of Schools.  She is the proud parent of three Eastchester graduates who, thanks to the wonderful education and experiences they had in our schools, are independent and successful!
