Annual School Budget Vote & Trustee Election, May 17, 2022
- U. S. Citizen
- At least 18 years old
- A resident of the District for at least 30 days immediately preceding the election/vote
- If a voter is not qualified to register for or vote in a general election under the Election Law (e.g. certain felons), not a qualified voter
- In districts with personal registration of voters, registration with the County Board of Elections or with the School District
Voter Registration Information
You may register any weekday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the District Clerk’s Office located in the District Office at 580 White Plains Road. A special registration day is set for Thursday, May 12, 2022 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The last day to register for the Budget Vote and Trustee Election is May 12, 2022. Anyone registered with the County Board of Elections who resides within the Eastchester Union Free School District is automatically registered to vote in school budget votes and elections.

Military Voters who are not currently registered to vote may apply to register as a qualified voter of the Eastchester Union Free School District. Military voters who are registered to vote may obtain an application for a military ballot for the Annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election on May 17, 2022 by contacting the District Clerk at 580 White Plains Road by phone (914) 793-6130, x4201, or by email at email@example.com. The Military Voter may indicate their preference for receiving the registration application and/or application for a military ballot by mail, facsimile, or email.The completed application to register and/or the application for a military ballot must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 22, 2022. Military ballots will be mailed or otherwise distributed no later than 25 days before the election. Military ballots must be returned by mail or in person and received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 17, 2022.
To receive an Absentee Ballot, all registered voters must complete an absentee ballot application form. Absentee ballot applications are available at the District Office at 580 White Plains Road during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). You can also download the application here.

You may request an absentee ballot if you are concerned about contracting COVID-19. Check option two (2), "temporary illness of physical disability." The absentee ballot application should be submitted in the original form with the original signature on it. It must be submitted at least seven days before the vote/election if the ballot will be mailed to the voter and by the day before the vote/election if the ballot will be personally picked up by the voter.
In order to be counted, the absentee ballot must be received by the District Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on the day of the vote/election in order to be counted.
