  • My family is new to the district, how do I get my child on a school bus?

    Posted by:

Welcome to Eastchester!  Once your child is registered and activated in the school system, transportation can be arranged.  Please sign up for your home access account and check the account each day after registration.  Home Access will be updated with your child’s bus schedule once arrangements are made.  This may take a few days so please continue to check Home Access and be patient.  Once the information appears in Home Access there will be a start date for services listed as well.

  • How can my child get off the bus on their own in the afternoon and walk home from the bus stop?

Authorization to walk forms for students in grades 2-5 can be found on the District’s Transportation Page and must be completed and returned each year.  Changes that are made may take a few days to reflect on the school bus driver’s paperwork.  Please wait for them to confirm they have the updated information.
