Dear Eastchester Faculty, Families, and Students,
It was wonderful to welcome back all of our students for the 2025-2026 academic year. Each of our schools have been diligently preparing for another great year. The weather was absolutely gorgeous as students walked through our doors and the balloon displays by our amazing PTAs were an added attraction to each of our buildings.
Communication Chain of Command
As a parent of three students myself, I know just how many communications come your way. And so, I will keep my note succinct and remind you that your child’s teacher and building administrators are always there to support you and your child with any information you may need for the start of the year.
To that end, if you have questions or concerns that arise across different departments in our district, please refer to our 'Chain of Communication' document. This document provides clear guidance on how to have your matters addressed efficiently and effectively.
Transportation
Every new school year, I kindly ask parents in advance for your patience during the first couple weeks of school as bus routes are refined and drivers settle into a rhythm. Our District Transportation Coordinator has worked closely with First Student to maximize routes for all of our students. With the new HS and MS schedules underway, we may need a few final adjustments here and there but we anticipate a continued smooth start to the year.
Happenings In and Around the Community
This is a friendly reminder that the district’s primary mode of communication is through our Parent Square platform. Whether it’s your child’s teacher, building administrator or a district newsletter, messages are sent directly to your email. Districtwide stories are also posted on the District’s and each school’s main website.
