Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Greenvale School!  Greenvale is an outstanding elementary school located in the Eastchester Union Free School District serving students in grades 2 - 5.  The Greenvale School Community prides itself on the highest quality teaching and learning, excellence in leadership, deep student engagement, a rigorous curriculum, and a supportive and active parent community.

It is my goal to create a learning environment that both nurtures and challenges our students to be highly successful students and citizens.  Our students strive for academic achievement through appropriate learning environments that are differentiated to meet the needs of all.  Our teachers have high expectations both in and out of the classroom, encouraging our students academically, socially and emotionally.  We strive to help our students grow in these areas, preparing them for middle school and the world beyond.

Family involvement and a strong home-school connection is a critical piece in a child’s education.  We are so fortunate to have a strong and supportive PTA that helps parents become partners in our school community.  They sponsor a variety of events that encourage families to come together as one Greenvale community with the ultimate goal of supporting all students.  Our faculty and parents work together well beyond the conventional school day providing the students with programs that enhance learning and social-emotional growth.  Greenvale School is successful because we all work harmoniously to promote an ideal academic and social environment for the children of our school.
