About the Greenvale School  

The Greenvale School is one of two elementary schools in the Eastchester Union Free School District serving students in second through fifth grade. Our enrollment is about 550 students, with 6 sections of each grade level. Our average class size is 20-24 students.  The core curriculum includes literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, technology, and physical education. Targeted support services are provided to students for academic intervention, special education as well as English language learners.  Our curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, communication, problem solving, and the development of strong basic skills. Additional highlights include band, orchestra, choral programs, as well as character education programs that focus on cooperation, friendship, responsibility and honesty.
