    • Partnership with Altaris Consulting Group to establish and maintain state-of-the-art procedures and practices
    • A District Emergency Management Team that meets monthly to enact an action plan for safety and security improvement opportunities
    • A District Safety Team that meets quarterly to identify improvement opportunities
    • Trained security guards at each school building, many with prior law enforcement or military experience
    • Regular emergency drills conducted and logged at each school site
    • A newly standardized and robust visitor registration system at each school site
    • Employment of a School Resourse Officer (SRO) to build relationships with local law enforcement and promote a culture of safety with the school community
