Anne Hutchinson Families Trick Out Their Rides for Trunk-or-Treat Event

On Friday, October 22, Anne Hutchinson School hosted its annual Trunk-or-Treat event, putting a spin on the Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating.

Members of the PTA facilitated the early evening festivities, soliciting parent volunteers to decorate the trunks of their cars in creative Halloween themes that awed the little learners.

Like pirates in search of buried treasure, children skipped from car to car stuffing their baskets with as many treats and other goodies they could find.

To keep things spooky but safe, the event was held in a contained area of the school's parking lot, which also allowed families to get to know each other.

Parents bonded over decorating tips and kids trotted around in their costumes, smiles on their faces and sweets in hand.

Overall, it was a fun-filled evening that put the Halloween celebration in drive!
