This year's Day of Silence is Friday, April 23rd. The Day of Silence is a national student-led demonstration where LGBTQ students and allies all around the country—and the world—take a vow of silence to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools. The Day of Silence's goal is to bring attention to the ways schools and communities can become more inclusive. If you are interested in participating, you must show a card to present to your teachers which explains that you have taken the vow so please stop by room 130 in order to get it :)
